Structured submissions, voting, status, and staff replies.
Start here
Collect suggestions and route them to staff
PulseOne → Dashboard → select your server → Modules → Suggestions
Open Modules → Suggestions → Suggestions configuration.
Under Channels and posting choose Suggestions channel and Staff review channel; optionally add a Status-change notification channel.
Under Submission rules configure cooldowns, allowed submitter roles and blocked roles.
Set Voting and Staff and duplicates permissions, then configure Categories, Handoff teams and Statuses as needed.
Save changes and submit a test suggestion. Verify it appears in the correct staff review queue.
Practical example
Route feature requests to one suggestions channel and staff decisions to a private review channel.

- Enable first: messages.
- Discord bot permissions for the operational slice: ViewChannel, SendMessages, EmbedLinks.
- Review staff roles and channel access in your server before using the feature.

Structured submissions
Structured submissions provide a consistent idea title and description rather than unstructured chat.
Voting and staff status
Staff status and vote counts show progress, but staff decisions should remain explicit.

Merge or link duplicates rather than fragmenting discussion across multiple suggestions.
If it still does not work
- Submission denied? Inspect Submission rules, cooldown exemptions and user roles.
- Suggestion not routed? Check destination IDs and bot channel visibility.
Troubleshooting and safety checks
- Suggestion not visible? Review submission policy, channel routing, moderation status and role visibility.
- If a capability is unavailable in the UI, check the module's current rollout/availability instead of assuming every roadmap item is live.
