Social alerts
Webhook-first feeds with deduplication and delivery health.
Start here
Check availability before trying to set up feeds
PulseOne → Dashboard → select your server → Modules → Social alerts
Open Modules → Social alerts and read its current availability badge.
If the page says This module is still in build, setup is not available; do not search for an Enable button.
When a working implementation is released, verify the supported source adapters and the actual form controls before adding a feed.
Practical example
Social alerts is defined in PulseOne's registry but not yet operational; this is not a live setup tutorial.
Before you begin
- Enable first: messages, integrations.
- Discord bot permissions for the operational slice: ViewChannel, SendMessages, EmbedLinks.
- Review staff roles and channel access in your server before using the feature.
Overview of the setup
Before you begin
This module is registry-defined only; check the PulseOne dashboard for an operational implementation before enabling any live feed.
Configure
When available, connect only an approved source and choose the destination/template with an appropriate audience.
Test and verify
Test a nonpublic source event and verify deduplication and error health before public announcements.
Features explained
What each feature does and what to check before publishing or installing the result.
Approved feed adapters
Feed connectors must be approved; an arbitrary URL is not automatically a supported integration.
Delivery deduplication
Deduplication should prevent reposting the same source update after a retry.
Source and destination health
Connection and destination health make broken subscriptions visible to moderators.
If it still does not work
- Do not mistake the feature description for an installed connector.
- Check release notes for a working runtime and supported source providers.
Troubleshooting and safety checks
- Feature unavailable? It is listed as defined, not operational; do not promise live feed delivery yet.
- If a capability is unavailable in the UI, check the module's current rollout/availability instead of assuming every roadmap item is live.
