Award XP and publish level rewards
PulseOne → Dashboard → select your server → Modules → Leveling
Open Modules → Leveling and review the runtime button before applying changes.
In Message XP set the eligible channels and rate/cooldown; in Voice XP decide whether voice sessions also earn XP.
Choose the Level curve and Exemptions so bots, excluded channels and designated roles do not farm XP.
Set Role rewards or the Role reward ladder. Add a Level-up announcement only if a destination is configured.
Press Save configuration and Enable runtime, then create normal test activity and check Leaderboard and member points.
Practical example
Exclude a bot-command channel from Message XP, then award a low-tier nonprivileged test role for the first milestone.

- No module dependency listed.
- Discord bot permissions for the operational slice: ManageRoles, ViewChannel.
- Review staff roles and channel access in your server before using the feature.

Activity XP with clear cooldowns
Use cooldowns to limit message farming and exclude noisy or bot-only channels.

Seasons create bounded leaderboard windows without conflating historic and current scores.

Reward roles follow thresholds; log staff XP adjustments so leaderboards stay auditable.
If it still does not work
- No XP after posting? Verify that the runtime is on, the cooldown has elapsed and the channel/member is eligible.
- Role reward missing? Check bot role hierarchy and Manage Roles permission.
Troubleshooting and safety checks
- XP missing? Check event eligibility, cooldown, exclusions, intents and whether the member is a bot.
- If a capability is unavailable in the UI, check the module's current rollout/availability instead of assuming every roadmap item is live.
